GET TO KNOW ME

My name is Allegra Yamandula Siren, and I was born in Fort Worth, Texas. I started singing at the age of 3 and writing my own songs when I was 12 years old. I grew up singing Gospel music in church and I was trained in Classical music.

During this time, I had the honor of singing background for 12-time Grammy Award winning Gospel artist, Shirley Caesar, sang and received feedback from R&B artist, Trey Songz, met and discussed my first album with rapper, actor, and author Fonzworth Bentley, won a singing competition on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, singing Jennifer Hudson’s One Night Only, and worked on several music projects with Mr. Lee, the 3-time Billboard charting rapper. producer, and trailblazer of Hip-house music, to name a few.

My rap career began in 2018, after I was advised to release my pain from an abusive relationship through my music. I gained traction as a rapper and was publicly recognized for my lyrical freestyles by artists like Bow Wow, and Erica Banks. During the summer of 2020, I was casted to play the part of Olivia, one of the leading roles in my first Indie Nigerian Film titled, “His Truth, Her Truth, The Truth”.In 2021, I was featured on Efe Money’s “Belinda” (Remix) after being discovered on Instagram by the Nigerian native recording artist and winner of Reality Tv Show, “Big Brother Naija”.

If I can be honest, my life has been full of struggles and triumphs from, sexual abuse, domestic violence, divorce, single motherhood, and living with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, an “incurable” illness that affects the entire body, primarily affecting muscles, joints, bones, skin, and organs. These events caused me to embark on a spiritual path and I used my lessons to create mind-bending rap music with a mainstream hip hop sound. I believe that the more you go through, the higher your capacity to heal others. Because of this belief, I try to be as real, raw, and uncut as possible so that others can learn from my life, be it my failures or successes. I am not perfect and I try to keep an eagle’s eye view by staying open to all perspectives.

ENCHANTED ART

My art ranges from heavenly and whimsical to divinely hellish. All of my art is inspired by various steps along my spiritual life journey. Some of my art is beautiful because life reflects that. Other works are harsh because that is the energy that was felt and needed to be released at that time. Some of it is sexy and some of it is fun. Maintaining my fluidity keeps me balanced.

PASSIONATE STUDIES

Because of my never-ending desire for more knowledge, I have studied a variety of topics related to creative and healing arts such as various world languages, cultures of the African and Afro-Latin diaspora, Asian-based Spiritual practices and religions, Christianity, Santería, Voodoo, Ifa, Paganism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Hoodoo in terms of rootwork, herbalism, and metaphysics. I am also very passionate about animals and nature. I know that animals, flora, and fauna bring a natural healing energy to our environment that benefits the planetary vibration. Because of this, I adopt, care for, and study animals and their reaction to the environment. I have owned dogs, cats, snakes, turtles, and fish of various species. I have hiked through the tropical rainforest of Central America, explored Mauna Loa and Kīlauea, which are active volcanoes in Hawaii, and I have sailed the seas. I am in constant awe of nature and I truly love learning about the world.

According to my grandmother, my great-grandmother and her mother “were healers who ran a shop out of the house and women would come from all over the city to see them for herbal healing”. Needles to say, becoming a healer and seeker of Divine knowledge was my destiny.

PURPOSE

My purpose is to encourage people to heal and become the best version of themselves for themselves. I hope that my art inspires you all to keep reaching for greater. That’s exactly what I plan to do.
